Town of Police Department

The Town of Peterstown does not have a Town police department. The Monroe County Sheriff’s office and the West Virginia State Police are empowered to enforce the law, protect property and reduce civil disorder in the Town of Peterstown. 

Town of Peterstown Fire Department

The fire department that is empowered to provide fire protection and first response services for the Town of Peterstown is the Peterstown Fire Department. The Peterstown Fire Department also employs the services of other county VFDs to oversee the fire protection district that encompasses the Town of Peterstown.
