Town of Terra Alta Police Department

The Terra Alta Police Department is empowered to enforce the law, protect property and reduce civil disorder in the Town of Terra Alta. The Terra AltaPolice Department is engaged in an array of activities, depending on the situation, but its predominant concern is the preservation of order. 

Town of Terra Alta Fire Department

The fire department that is empowered to provide fire protection and first response services for the Town of Terra Alta is the Terra Alta Fire Department. The Terra Alta Fire Department also employs the services of other county VFDs to oversee the fire protection district that encompasses the Town of Terra Alta.

Terra Alta Ambulance Squad

Terra Alta Ambulance Squad is a branch of emergency services dedicated to providing out-of-hospital acute medical care and/or transport to definitive care, to patients with illnesses and injuries which the patient, or the medical practitioner, believes constitutes a medical emergency. The goal of the Terra Alta Ambulance Squad as it relates to Emergency Medical Services is to either provide treatment to those in need of urgent medical care, with the goal of satisfactorily treating the malady, or arranging for timely removal of the patient to the next point of definitive care.
